SS. John and Paul will be supporting MCREST, June 6 – 13 this year instead of in December
Although we can not house MCREST guests this year because of COVID, we will still be supporting the homeless that they service. These are the ways that you can help:
- Donations via a check made out to SS John and Paul with MCREST on the memo line. Whatever you can do is greatly appreciated.
- Bakers – to bake items that can be packaged individually.
- Quarter Drive – for MCREST guests to do their laundry. Please toss quarters in the jar located in Gathering Area.
- T-shirts and underwear (Men’s sizes XL and 2X) – Please put in the collection barrel located in the Gathering Area.

Our 2021 Catholic Services Appeal is underway at SS. John & Paul Parish. Thank you for your previous generous donations to SSJ&P. We are continuing to use CSA to help fund our current operating deficit and infrastructure projects planned for 2021-2022. Please prayerfully consider increasing your donation to help make us an Amazing Parish! The Archdiocese has already sent letters and forms to many of you. The campaign is using a Minnesota company to process gifts, however, you may wish to drop your gift/pledge at the parish office and we can forward them on for you. You may also donate to CSA by way of our parish website at Home Page (osvonlinegiving.com). A reminder to those still paying 2020 CSA pledges, you have until May 29th to do so. God Bless You and Thank you.
Fr. Festus was one of Several pastors from around our community who gathered to offer messages of hope and inspiration during this Easter holiday. Looking for a lift-up, a smile, and a feeling of hope in troubled times – watch this to the very end.
The decision was made to no longer offer in-person GRACE Formation. Our program will be remote from now until further notice. Between the governors announcement, the high number of COVID cases in Macomb county, we felt that it would be irresponsible to continue in person at this time. We will update you if anything changes.
Public Masses have resumed. In the interest of safety and to facilitate disinfection of the church between Masses, the schedule will be as follows:
Tuesday and Wednesday at 9am
Saturdays at 5pm
Sundays at 9:30am and 11:30am
Mondays at 7pm
Although measures have been taken to ensure the safety of those attending, understandably some may wish to remain at home. Please note that all the faithful in the Archdiocese of Detroit are dispensed from their Sunday obligation to attend Mass until Ash Wednesday, February 17. We will be streaming Mass Sundays at 11:30am on Facebook Live.
