Pastoral Council

The Pastoral Council represents the visions, hopes, and needs of the community and effectively communicates those to the pastor in an advisory position.

The council carries out the parish mission by establishing goals, developing short and long term plans, setting priorities and giving direction which are implemented by the parish commissions and committees.

Qualification to be on the council

  1. Registered in the parish
  2. 18 years of age or older
  3. Able to serve a three year term
  4. Willing to work collegially in seeking consensus on issues

No election is held. All nominees are put in a basket and selected at Mass by a drawing.

The Pastoral Council meets the second Wednesday of the month for approximately 2 hours. Parishioners are always welcome to attend this meetings.
