Parish Listening Sessions

The next step in the Archdiocesan restructuring process is for every parish in the Archdiocese of Detroit to host two parish listening sessions.  At these sessions, we will review potential models and provide feedback.  Our parish listening sessions will be Tuesday, May 19 and Thursday, May 21 from 7pm to 9pm.

All parishioners are encouraged to attend one of these sessions.  Please be sure to register in advance, click here.

Bereavement Support

The mission of this ministry is to provide an empathic and emotionally safe place, where the bereaved are able to express their grief freely without judgement.  To provide care, comfort, and support to those who are suffering a sense of loss.  Join us for coffee and conversation on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30pm.

Our Bereavement Ministry is also ready to help grieving families as soon as you need us. We are available to offer rosary or prayer services at the funeral home, providing personalized eulogies and comfort when needed. If you feel the need for individualized support, someone is available to listen. We can also provide contact information for a professional therapist if necessary. However, our primary goal as a Bereavement Ministry is to provide an empathic and emotionally safe place or ‘listening ear’ where the bereaved are able to express their grief freely without judgment. For more information, contact Ellen Polzin at 586-489-2569 (text/cell) or polzinssjp@gmail.com.

2025-2026 Parishioner Information UPDATE

In this season of archdiocesan restructuring, it is critical that our parish records reflect our current membership.  We invite all current and incoming parishioners to complete a short, 5-minute survey to help us collect information.  Whether you are a long-time parishioner or registering with our parish for the first time, we appreciate and value your assistance!  Click here to update your information, THANK YOU!

Inclement Weather

Please note that weekday Masses will be cancelled if Romeo Community Schools are cancelled for inclement weather.  However, the office will be open for business.

Need Help?

If you find yourself or someone you know in need of assistance, St. Vincent dePaul may be able to help.  Our Conference believes that ‘no work of charity is foreign to the Society.’ In these difficult times, we stand ready to help you get over a financial hump that you may be encountering.  That may look like assistance with a utility bill, rent, or perhaps food.  Whatever the challenge you may be facing, we are here to work with you.  Also, we may be able to find other resources or agencies to assist you.

If you are in need of assistance, please call (586) 840-1389.  Leave your name, phone number and type of assistance needed, and someone will return your call within 24 hours.

Can and Bottle Drive

Drop off your bagged returnable beverage cans and bottles at the specified bins at the rear entrance of the Formation Wing (under the burgundy canopy).  Proceeds will benefit the Knights of Columbus and the SS. John and Paul Youth Group.

Thank You!
