Evangelization Information

Evangelization Committee

This committee meets monthly for 1 1/2 hours to discuss ways to encourage the parish to have a visible presence in the wider community and to help people become better at sharing the joy of the gospel. At three of the monthly gatherings the committee visits various parish commission planning meetings to learn about ongoing events and to offer input into how to keep evangelization a central focus in all that the parish does.

Registration Weekend

Represent the parish at Registration Weekend held twice a year after all weekend Masses. Answer questions about the parish to prospective parishioners. Help people register with the parish and provide welcome packet.

College Care Packages

In an effort to keep a connection with students during their college years, SS John and Paul creates a care package with parish information, well wishes from parishioners and a Starbucks gift card. These are sent out during finals week in the spring.

Seekers of Justice Committee

Meets the 3rd Thursday of the month, along with other North Macomb Vicariate parishioners, in response to the United States Catholic Conference of Bishops Social Teaching. The focus is on the plight of our immigrant neighbors, while being open to all justice concerns.  The goals of the committee are: education, accompaniment and advocacy.
