Do you like to put on a great party? The event coordinator organizes the shopping, publicizing, and facilitating of volunteers for a particular event such as:
- Graduation Reception
- Confirmation Reception
- Easter Vigil Reception
- Ice Cream Social
- Potluck Game Night
- Fall Social
- Remembrance of Deceased Reception
Graduation Reception
Each spring a Mass is held to honor our graduating students from High School or College. A reception is held afterwards.
Confirmation Reception
Reception held afer the Confirmation Mass.
Easter Vigil Reception
Reception held afer the Easter Vigil Mass.
Ice Cream Social
Food for the Soul (Bakers)
Throughout the year, volunteers are needed to bake or prepare food for various parish events such as the Easter Vigil Reception, funeral luncheons, and Soup Kitchens. A list is maintained of those individuals who have signed up and they are called on an as needed basis.
Hostess for Events
Throughout the year, volunteers are needed to host/hostess special parish events. The-se volunteers work with the Event Coordinator to help set up before an event and serve refreshments during the event.
Parish Picnic
Every five years SS John and Paul holds a picnic to celebrate the feast day of our patron saints. This committee plans, organizes, and executes this day filled with games, food, and fun.
