This event is hosted by individual vicariates and parishes throughout the Archdiocese of Detroit. Multiple locations bring volunteers together who courageously engage in the Corporal and Spiritual Works of Mercy!
Join the parishes in the North Macomb Vicariate as we make 1000 Blessing Bags for the many agencies that serve the homeless. Here are the ways you can participate:
Collecting at each parish September 16 – October 8
Purchase any of the items below and drop off at any participating church.
Travel size: toothpaste, shaving cream, deodorant, hand sanitizer.
Individually packaged toothbrush, Women’s and men’s dark socks, hand warmers, protein/granola bars, combs, $10 McDonald’s gift cards, 8o bottles of water and Chapstick

From 9am until 12pm (check in begins at 8:30am), volunteers will gather at St. Lawrence (44633 Utica Rd, Utica) to sort the collected items and pack into bags for distribution to organizations who service the homeless in southeast Michigan. Click here to register.
